PAN Portfolio Blog

Below you can find my PAN Portfolio Blog, a cumulative assignment I completed during my third and final year at Syracuse University as part of the classes Content Optimization for Public Relations Writing and Public Relations Leadership. As part of the leadership class, I interviewed my internship supervisor at PR agency Brodeur Partners and asked her about her experiences with how to navigate the ever-evolving field of social media and digital marketing.

The below pages are personal narratives I wrote in Content Optimization, as the assignment was to keep a blog on a cohesive theme. After much contemplation on what to write about, I chose to write about four music genres that I felt were most integral to my upbringing and multicultural background from having moved around frequently. I chose genres of music because music has always been a big part of my life to the extent that I feel that the genres I listen to represent my cultural identity better than a particular country, city, or culture. The music I listen to not only represents more constant parts of my identity like my mother tongue, but also evolving and yet-to-be-uncovered parts of it, like new hobbies I’ve picked up and new languages I want to learn.
